App Installer - How to set up nopCommerce

Winhost > Third party applications and tools > nopCommerce
Before you start, please refer to this Knowledge Base article to ensure that your site meets the basic requirements for nopCommerce to run smoothly on our servers. 

The first step is to create a MS SQL database in Control Panel.
 
Then go to your Winhost Control Panel, and under "Site Tools" click the App Installer.
 
Find nopCommerce in the App Installer and click "Select this Application >>."
 
To install nopCommerce directly in the root of your site, make sure the "AppPath" field is left blank.

Click the URL link when the App Installer has completed uploading nopCommerce. If your domain name is not pointing to Winhost yet, use the secondary URL provided with your account in the Site Info Section.

Store Information
  • Enter the Admin user email, Admin user password, Confirm the password fields.
  • Leave the Create sample data unchecked.
 
Database Information
  • Leave Use SQL Server (or SQL Express) database [Recommended] selected.
  • Leave Create database if it doesn't exists: uncheck.
  • Select Enter SQL connection values.
  • SQL Server Name - Enter the Database Server URL from the database you created in our control panel.
  • Database name - Enter the Database Name from the database you created.
  • Select Use SQL Server account.
  • SQL Username - Enter the SQL User from the database you created.
  • SQL Password - Enter the Database Password from the database you created.
  • Leave Specify custom SQL Server collation unchecked.
  • Click Install.

That's it, installation is complete.
