The Application Starting Point tool

The Application Starting Point tool in Control Panel allows you to designate a directory as the (application root) for an application.

To create a web application, follow these steps:
  1. Go to the Application Starting Point tool in Control Panel (located in the Site Tools section).
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter the path to the directory you wish to designate as an application root or navigate to this directory by clicking Browse link.
  4. Click Create.
