Add a Winhost email address to EmailBackup

1. To add a Winhost email address to your EmailBackup service, first log into the Winhost Control Panel, click Email Backup (LINK:/backup/email/) then Portal.


2. Click the + Add Backup button.



3. For a Winhost email address, select Sign in with Other.  


4. You'll then have two options, the default Add Manual (section immediately below) allows you to add email accounts individually.  To alternatively perform a bulk import, select Add CSV File (section further down).

5 . Click the Advanced Settings toggle switch in the upper right hand corner.


6. In the Advanced Settings pane


Protocol:  IMAP
Security:  Start TLS
Port:  110
Host: m##.internetmailserver.net (Replace ## with your mail server's number. Found in the Site Tools > Email)

7. Click Save.

8. Enter your full email address into the Email field and enter your email password into the Password field.


Optional: Click on + Add More to additional email addresses on the same mail server.  If there are additional email addresses on another mail server, Start Backup first, then add a new backup afterwards.

9. Click on Start Backup.



1 . Add CSV File - (Optional) Use this option when you want to add more than one email user at a time.

2. Download the template and open it in a text editor like Notepad.  


3. Add email addresses and passwords separated by comma as in the provided template.  

4. Save the file then drag it onto the "Drag & Drop CSV File Here" box.  


5. Then click the Advanced Settings toggle switch.


6. In the Advanced Settings pane

Port:  110

7. Click Save.

8. Click on Start Backup.
