How to restore a website from the SiteBackup dashboard

SiteBackup provides two ways to restore your website on the web server.
 
  1. You can download the backup files to your computer and upload it to the server.
  2. You can use the Restore File button on the SiteBackup dashboard to restore directly to the web server.
 
To restore a site from the SiteBackup dashboard follow these steps.
 
  1. Go to the SiteBackup dashboard.
  2. Click on the Restore Files button on the dashboard. 
 
When restoring your site to our server, the Restore Files feature gives you the option to restore all of the files and folders back to your root, or to choose specific files and folders to be restored.
 
 
 
Uncheck Select All to choose a specific folder or file, or check Select All to restore everything.
 
Note: The SiteBackupRestore File option will overwrite any files and folders within the root regardless of the date stamp of the file.
 
Click the Restore File button to proceed to the next page.
 
 
 
Check the box next to the warning stating that the files chosen will replace the existing files and folders on the server.
 
Click the Restore button to start the restoration process.
