Getting Started with SiteLock

To log into the SiteLock Dashboard, first log into the Winhost Control Panel, then navigate to Sites > domain name link > Site Tools > SiteLock or click the SiteLock button in the navigation bar.

By default, the SiteLock purchase confirmation email will be sent to the primary email address on file with your Winhost account.  Log into the Control Panel and click the “Account & Billing” tab.  Under the “Admin Contact” manager, make sure the primary email address on file is a valid and active email address.

Two emails will be sent when SiteLock is purchased.  One will be from SiteLock and the other will be from the Winhost Support Department.  Neither email will contain the SiteLock login credentials.

Accessing the SiteLock Dashboard

Once the SiteLock service has been ordered and provisioned, log into the Control Panel and go to the SiteLock Manager.  Click the SiteLock Portal link to go to the SiteLock Dashboard.

Dashboard: This is the Summary page that displays the status of the scans SiteLock has performed on your site.  The "All Visitors" section shows who views your page through the SiteLock Trust Seal.  "Messages and Alerts" will display the status of the completed SiteLock scans.

Sites: This will display a list of sites under your SiteLock account.  They are grouped by the email address used to sign up for the account.

Users: Create additional SiteLock users who have access to the SiteLock Dashboard.

Settings: This is where you can modify your scan settings.  SiteLock has two scans you can modify; Application and SMART scan.  SMART scan will connect through your FTP account and scan and delete any malicious files (malware, trojans, virus, etc.).

Messages: Messages and urgent alerts from SiteLock regarding the security and reputation of your business.

Help: Information on the SiteLock Dashboard and how SiteLock works in general.

SiteLock Login: We do not store SiteLock Dashboard credentials.  To reset your password, log in to the Winhost Control Panel and log into the SiteLock Dashboard.
