I received an email notice that one of my sales was voided. What does that mean?

Our Affiliate Management Team is continually reviewing sales made via the Affiliate Program. If a sale is found to be fraudulent or in violation of our Terms of Service, the sale will be voided by our Affiliate Management Team.

If you feel a sale was voided in error, you can contact our Affiliate Team at Affiliate@WinHost.com. When contacting the Affiliate Management Team, please be sure to provide your Affiliate ID so we can review the sales associated with your account.

How long will it take to get paid for my sales?

Once you have requested payment for eligible sales in the Affiliate Manager, payment requests will be processed by our Accounting department on the 1st of the month (or the next business day if the 1st falls on a holiday or weekend). When the payment is processed you will receive an email verifying that your payment request has been processed. When you receive the verification email, review your PayPal account to ensure the payment is received.

I have an eligible sale, why can't I request payment?

Before payment can be requested there must be a minimum of $50 in eligible payments. If you do not have $50 available, any payment request will be rejected by our payment request system.

How am I paid for eligible sales?

You can request payment for accounts that are listed as "Eligible" using the Payment tab in your Affiliate Manager.

On the Payment page, select the button marked Payment Request. On the Payment Request page, the months with available payments will be displayed with a link on the right side labeled view sales. This link will display all sales associated with this payment.

Once you have verified the payments you wish to be paid for, check the payments you wish to be paid for in the Request Payment column and click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

What do "Eligible" and "Ineligible" mean in the Sales Report?

Each sale within the Sales report will display one of two statuses: "Eligible" or "Ineligible." An "Ineligible" account has yet to reach the required 90 days active to be eligible, or it was canceled before it reached that date. Once an account is active for 90 days, the status will automatically change to "Eligible," which makes it available for you to request payment.

Where can I see my sales?

All sales made using your Affiliate ID or from clicking on your Affiliate ads can be viewed in your Affiliate Manager.

When logged in to the Affiliate manager, select the Reports tab at the top of the page. On the Reports page, select the Sales button. This page will display the current month's sales. To view previous month's sales, simply change the dates at the top of the page and select the View Selected Date Range link.

How much do I make for each sale?

Depending on the billing cycle selected for the new hosting plan, the amount you make for each sale is as follows:

Annual Sales

1 – 5 Sales = $20 per sale
6 – 10 Sales = $30 per sale
11 + Sales = $40 per sale

Quarterly Sales

Flat rate of $10 per sale

How do I start making sales?

After you sign up for the program you will have access to a number of banner ads, text ads, and text links. Each ad type will have a "view sample code" link. When you select the link, a pop up window will open providing an example of the ad, as well as the necessary HTLM to place the ad on your site (your Affiliate ID will be automatically included in the HTML). Simply copy the HTML and paste it into your site.

Whenever someone uses your text links or ads to open a new hosting account you are credited with the sale (provided that the new account is eligible for credit as per our terms of service). You can also simply provide your Affiliate ID to anyone you wish to refer. When they sign up for hosting on the WinHost site the order form will contain a field to enter your Affiliate ID. Again, providing that the account is eligible for credit, the new account will be credited to your Affiliate account once the sign up is complete.

Do you provide marketing material that I can use with the Affiliate Program?

Yes. In the Affiliate Manger you will find a "Creative" tab. In this tab you will find various banners and banner sizes as well and text links and text ads that can be used for your Affiliate Marketing.

We recommend that you review your banners regularly, as the "Creative" section will be updated as new offers and technologies are offered by WinHost.

Can past accounts be considered for Affiliate credit?

Only accounts opened after you have joined the Affiliate Program are eligible for Affiliate Credit.
