Configuring FTP Explorer to access your web site
Accessing your WinHost account with FTP Explorer is very simple, and no different than the method used to configure FTP Explorer to access other FTP sites.
  1. Start FTP Explorer.
  2. Click Tools -> Connect. You should now see the Connect dialog box.
  3. Enter a name you want to identify your WinHost account in the Profile Name field.
  4. Enter ftp.HostingAccountDomain.com in the FTP Host Address field. You can enter either your FTP address (ftp.HostingAccountDomain.com) or the secondary FTP address in this field. Your FTP login information can be found in the Site Info section of Control Panel
  5. Note: your FTP address will not work until your domain name resolves to our servers.
  6. Check Use PASV Mode.
  7. Enter your username in the Login field.
  8. Enter your password in the Password field.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click Connect.
